25th November 2014

Had a very very busy day on the holding farm yesterday grading and weighing and sorting over 300 carp to 26lb that will all be in there new homes by Sunday.  Good job Rip and Simon from the Woodborough syndicate gave us a hand.  Huge delivery to Craigs Millbrook fishery near Stoke tomorrow.  I think he might be pleased with them!!!  By god this man needs a change of luck and with the first stockies now settled in and stacking the weight on from 12 months ago I am sure this batch will do the same.  If anyone out there was thinking of going down the foreign route talk to Craig and I promise you won't!! Photo is of the boys netting up the c4s from their holding pond.

25th November 2014

Nice drop of rain to fill my 12 acre out site back up after my record harvest.  Just desperate to get some of the stock going back into the lake down there as soon as possible.  Never had so many monster c4 c5 and c6s to put back to grow on!

22nd November 2014

ELSTOW STOCKING .I was delighted to be asked by Len Guard to stock such an iconic water as Elstow pit 1.  That legend Peter Mohan was even there to present me a signed copy of his book.  The syndicate members turned out in force to see the stockies and they were delighted.

MONKS GET SOME CRACKING C4S .Today was to catch up with another customer with a fantastic water near Huntingdon mike Richardson and his monks pool.  80% of the monks pool stockies are ours including porky at over 50lb 14 fish over 40lb and a stack of thirty.  Mick was all over me as soon as we arrived showing me photos of fish stocked at 5lb by me now as big as 33lb after going in in 2008 mick also showed us photos of some screws we stocked in 20 10 at 5lb now up to 23lb.  Mick loved his stockies today that were stonkers.

AMBUSHED BY SHEEP SHAGGER AT WHITE SPRINGS .Our second drop off the day was to one of our oldest and favourite customers Vince and his family at white springs and this year we were ambushed by well known spiv and sheep shagger Nashie rep Alan price.  Vince always has a stocking of our very best c5s and this year was no exception with the fish spread over the pit and the specimen lake.  Pricey even was complimentary about the carp but that may have something to do with the fact he wanted ponce dinner at the pub.

20th November 2014

ANOTHER 26LB HEADING TODBERS WAY.  Day 4 on my major harvest saw another excellent day with a bumper haul of carp heading back to the holding farm young Candy and Timbo from Todber were on site to help and have the pick of the pond after I gave the candy man a deal that has gone badly wrong for me.  Before I had the chance to smuggle a cracking mirror out the boat before they saw it Matt and Tim were all over like a rash and now the fish is Todber bound.  The boys also picked a superb mirror of 23lb that looks all set to be a monster along with a nice 22lb common.

STOCKING OCTOBER 2014

October 19th 2014

Well had a result today.  Got a breakfast out of rip and Simon from the Woodborough Syndicate.  I Can't remember the breakfasts I have bought rip over the years!! and to think he retired at 35 years old!!  Anyway today we had a nice breakfast from Simon and rip.  The pair ordered 100 c3 scaleys from me.  At the last minute we lost the stock pond that they were going to.  Lucky for them Steve from the Bramblemere syndicate on the Cotswold Water Park had an empty stock pond and the boys were allowed to use that.  Today they got their delivery and were made up!

October 17th 2014

Here are a few photos from our stocking of 300 fabulous c3s into Linear Fisheries at Oxford today.  Poor old Roy Parsons, the bailiff, was mortified to see all the scales on the fish claiming they couldn't be Simmos!! Linear and Len Guard, bailiff Roy and Linear's manager Chris Blunt have been tremendous supporters of our stock over the years and now have a phenomenal head of our fish at linear.

October 16th 2014

Been down on the Cotswold Water Park with toad today delivering 150 stunning c3 scaleys that have gone into a 10 acre lake with very few fish in it to be grown on by Andy Stump of Wildmoor Waters.  I give it 4 years and some of these beauties will be 20lb plus.  Imagine these 3 as twenty's!!   Its off to linear tomorrow. Cant wait for the linear crew to see the 300 stunners we are bringing them!  Exciting times!!

October 8th 2014

We took 500 of these crackers to Willows Lake at St Albans today.  Fishery manager was over the moon with his fish and no wonder when they look like this!!  Glad you liked them Andy!

After harvesting over 1700lb of 3lb carp from one of the ponds on the holding farm which are of to willow lakes St Albans tomorrow, it was time to add Siltex to the silt in the pond to break down the mud before holding 10'000lb of carp to March when I can get them back to the out sites.  Our Tench pond has produced a cracking harvest of Tench between 8oz and 1lb 8oz this summer and a quick pull of the net produced over 1000lb in weight of green beauties, which at £13 per lb was a very valuable haul!
